Good show!  The My Sweet One with Popper is *very* strong, as is the
Possum, Caravan and Bitch.

The opening of YEM is a little shaky but otherwise fine and standard.
"Nirvana" comes quickly at 1:38 (no gorgeous opening segment, in other
words, as they do nowadays).  Mike's little solo-section that follows
the Nirvana segment (at 2:33) is melodious and curious.  Definitely
more upbeat than usual.  The pre-charge (when the tramps are brought
out on stage) is reasonably well-played, and Trey takes the first shot
at The Note at 3:52 and nails it.  His soloing around it is repetitive
and peculiar, though... nothing special.  Second shot at the Note and
the jamming around it is much cleaner.

"Boy" at 5:11 after a modest scream.  Typically snappy and funky BMGS
and WUDMTF segments.  Page appears to be the most inspired in here
(great fills between WUDMTF vocals).  At around 7:22 or so the
"tramps" section begins, and they are on the tramps given Mike's
signals.  I really like Page's spooky playing!!  When Trey and
Mike return more prominently, though, Page mellows a bit until

at around 9:12 Trey begins soloing (opening the jam segment).  Trey
sticks primarily to repetitive, quick licks in the lower octaves at
first, before dramatically ascending the 'doc's scales and melodiously
wailing (10:30).

Trey keeps noodling Most Spiritedly, and Mike, Page and Fish
gloriously accompany him.  Mike has that drippy phaaaat wet bass
effect on, too.  Fish's drumming isn't typical solid YEM material,
either -- he's quite active, even when Trey trills and thrills.

At 12:26 bass and drums kicks in after a dramatic close to the
jam segment.  Mike's snappy bass licks entertain..

At 13:02 the closing WUDMTF segment vocals begin, and the vocal jam
ensues (with a little accompaniment from Fish and Mike.. Fish doesn't
drop out completely until 14:10 or so).  Definite theme comes in
around 14:30.  Something about "putting your ratchet in" something
which I can't understand.  It is an **EXCELLENT** old vocal jam,
though, imo.. quite silly and crazy!  At 16:14 Trey begins chording
Possum lightly, as everyone continues to excitedly vocal jam!  A
bewilderingly cool vocal jam opening to Possum occurs!

At 16:46 Possum kicks in strongly after an excellent -> out of the YEM
vocal jam. (this actually happened several times in early March 90)

Easy C+ for this old YEM.  Deifnitely above average for older
versions, but nothing all that special compared with more recent
versions, of course.  I figured I had to give two cents on it, though,
for phishtorical purposes, given the excellent segue into Possum and
its otherwise "great in context" nature.

two cents
