EnronHubbard So happy I got to see that live. If I could sum it up in 1 word, it was grand.

10mileride So happy to have witnessed this live. I was taken on a mind altering exploratory journey for 27:11....the journey continued hard during the jam of Scents and Subtle Sounds. Please include the SASS in the noteworthy jams! It's truly amazing!
What a show!!!

ChalkDustTeacher Too bad this wasn't webcast! Would have loved to give Phish some money to watch this on Saturday.

ChalkDustTeacher Of course they send me an email telling me about a free webcast from Dayton five minutes after I make that comment. Thank you Phish!

FAHTAPES nice avatar! caught any crim shows this summer? I'm stoked to see them in Dallas 10/21.... Fripp is like 71 years old & still firing laserbeams from his Les Paul...

I have somehow never seen King Crimson despite being a fan since the mid-2000s! Living in the Great White North certainly doesn't help. Love their stuff though, particularly the 72-74 era with Bruford. Sounds like they have a pretty great lineup at the moment. I need to get caught up on what they've been up to this summer - thanks for the free reminder. Have fun in Dallas!

FAHTAPES Watched this Simple a few times last night... I'm glad Phish decided to release it. At around 10:00, it just goes bananas! Looking forward to tonight's Nutter cast....

FAHTAPES I also have been a fan of the same early 70's period for years and saw the Thrak tour in El Paso in 96 or 95. (can't remember) The current lineup was designed to channel that early Crim sound so this is a must see tour if you could make it happen.

ry007d There seems to be a Voyager on top of Lil' Punkin (see minute 13:00). New toy for Page!

Nigel_Tufnel Indeed. Haven't heard anything of this caliber since 2015 Mann2. A great example of what I still love so much about this band after all these years.

HelpingFriend That is some sorcery!

DirtyHonky So if they have the pro shot video and were filming it anyways, why no webcast? Very strange.

While I don't know for sure, my guess is that they are recording every show both audio and video for archival purposes and just for the hell of it. The same way the Dead recorded all shows even if they didn't have plans for it.

One day when they are putting together the definitive Phish documentary, access to these recordings will be invaluable.
